OMG!!! I just got the best news ever!!! 

I managed to score a bridal modelling photo shoot for next week. YAY. I'm so happy! I've been wanting stuff like this to happen and now I managed to get something. I have my room-mate to thank; he just randomly gave his cousins some pictures of me and only told me bout it after they were interested :) Ahhh I'm nervous and dunno what to expect but don't wanna get too excited just in case something screws up.

What do I wear there, make-up/hair wise and clothes/underwear wise. Does anyone kno?

UK Product Wishlist

I really wanna try out these products that they sell in the UK. Has anyone tried any of these and could tell me if they are good or not or which are better? If they are worth it will ask my friend to bring them back with them at christmas.

Drugstore Haul

So, today I woke up to this lovely email informing me that Priceline (drugstore here in Australia) was having 20% all their cosmetics and hair/skin care items. YES PLEASE! I made my way over there and bought some things I was wanting to get soon anyways (and some things I just thought I shud get to make the most of the 20%).

• Hair Products: I've never used those ones before but figured I'd give them a try. Anything to give my lifeless fine hair a little oompf. Will let you guys now how they turn out.
• St. Ives: love the scrub! Best scrub I've ever used by far. Lots of grainy bits which I need. Figured I'd give the microderm one a try.
• Shimmer: This stuff is definitely a shimmer all right. I had a mini one from a packet before but the spray part broke so had to throw it away. Gave such a nice shimmer (major) to your skin and looked great lightly on the hair as well.
• Make-up: Is that a big bronzer or what? haha, that will seriously last me forever. And the colour is nice and dark, will do swatches etc when I use it next. Needed a liquid eyeliner cause I somehow lost mine so just grabbed this one. The Revlon Mascara I've tried before but the non waterproof one. Loved it but smudges really easily so got the waterproof one this time. 

*UPDATE*

I couldn't help it, but I went to the second and last day of the 20% off and got some more stuff. BUT technically I only got one item cause the other one ende dup being free. So, thats okaaay.

Beach Bunny Swimwear

I stumbled across these bikinis the other day and love them! The brand is called "Beach Bunny Swimwear" and all their swimwear is lingerie inspired (as you can probably tell). 


The Kardashians have their own design range and celebrities like Holly, Ashley Tisdale, Eva Longoria are fans.
 

I love the designs for the bottoms; specially the lace waist ones and they have really cute cover ups and one-pieces as well.


They are pretty pricey tho, sigh, but they have a sale on atm for some of their stuff so I might buy a pair of those lace bottoms. 

Sorry for those of you going into winter, going into summer here in Australia :P Hence the bikini browsing.

Teenage Dream

 

I love this song at the moment, by Katy Perry. Just watching the music video to it makes me feel good for some reason. I get this whole 'summer' vibe from it. I love the scenes where they are just driving in the car with the top down. I've always wanted to do that; driving top down, blasting music and having no specific destination, just on a straight open road with nothing around. Closest I have to this "fantasy" is a little sun roof :p.

Model of the Month - Elle Liberachi

Erm, hello! How hot is this chick?! She's a 24 year old British model and is described as a "fresh face in the industry". I haven't really seen her in anything but supposedly she's done some Victoria's Secret stuff and she's been in Maxim etc. 

I want her hair please! (Also loving the look in the first pic above, with the dark brown smokey eye and nude lip)

Reality TV

I love "Reality TV"

Let's be honest here, who knows how much of this reality tv stuff is actually "real". I mean, did you guys see The Hills season finale?! 

But even though I know that some, even most of these shows are fake, they are still my guilty pleasures and I like the idea of it being reality.

Kardashians - Love watching these girls. Kim always looks flawless and seeing Kourtney & Khloe together is always funny.

Jersey Shore - GTL, T-Shirt Time... you know what I'm talking about. omg, so funny! Watching season 2 atm and I swear I think I have my mouth hanging open and am peeking through my hand for most of the episodes.  And those cat fights? Dayum 

The only way is Essex - So bad, that I somehow think it's good haha. Could those girls look any more fake? I thought one of the main girls was like 20-sumthing and then they say she's 19? That's not right 

The Spin Crowd -  Jonathan makes me laugh so much! One of the episodes where he's in the kitchen making a 'swan' gesture. So funny!

I know a lot of people hate reality shows (my boyfriend and best friend for instance) but they are my guilty pleasure ♥

LA Candy

Am currently loving the LA Candy Novels by Lauren Conrad. I know the first one has been out for a while but I just picked it up a couple weeks ago and just finished the second one yesterday. 
Managed to buy the third one - Sugar and Spice - the other day as well so am onto that one now.

It's kinda weird reading books now by Lauren Conrad or LC as some of you may know her by - yes, I was a die hard Laguna Beach fan! That's why it's so strange yet pretty cool seeing how far she, and all of them for that matter, have come since the show (looks, career opportunities etc). I used to love watching Laguna Beach back in my free periods in high school! But only seasons 1 and 2, the others were kinda sheit. 

Any Laguna Beach fans out there thinking the same?

Beginnings of a MAC Lipstick obsession

I had never been a fan of lipsticks until a couple months ago. I used to always think lipsticks were for "old ladies". But boy was I wrong. 

What set my mini obsession off?
A look of Jenny Humphrey's in Gossip Girl.

As soon as I saw this I went on a major search on how I could get that lip colour myself. 

My best friend's 21st was coming up and I wanted to copy this look.

After countless youtube videos and blog searches of people's "My favourite MAC Lipsticks" posts I found the closest one I could to achieve that barbie pink lip.

I'm not gonna lie, I was a little overwhelmed when I first put on Saint Germain, I mean I was a lipstick virgin and pretty much jumped into the deep end with the amplified creme. But nothing a few light dabs of the finger couldn't fix (makes it much more wearable).

I want holidays

Urghh I woke up today in serious need of a holiday (even though it was my day off uni and I had just had 10 hours sleep). But a holiday just sounds sooo much better!

Imagine lying on the beach right now, the smell of sun tan lotion, catching a tan, listening to the waves, preferably with a cocktail in hand... errr yes plz! Beach holidays are my all time favs.

I think I might just go back to bed and

It's about time...

I've always wanted my own blog. After months of following other people's blogs I decided it was about time to start my own.

I'm not quite sure what direction I'm going to take with this blog; I guess with what ever comes to mind. I have a feeling I will be falling (even more so) behind with uni work now that I have found a new "project". 

 

I promise to put lots of effort into this and
